Local And Virtual Financial Planning

Whether you are located near our Johnstown, PA office or live on the other side of the country, at Perspective Wealth Planning we are committed to keeping our financial planning process the same!

Our 7 Step Financial Planning Process

  1. Introductory meeting to get to know each other, find out your top financial goals, and determine if financial planning is the right solution for you. Read more about the benefits of financial planning.

  2. We will work together to get all of the necessary information to put your plan together. (Including but not limited to: social security estimates, pension estimates, investment statements, and discuss how much you are currently saving).

  3. After we have gathered all of the necessary information, we analyze your current situation to see if you are on track to help address your top financial goals. Here we will also review your current investments and provide you with a clear picture of how much risk you are currently taking.

  4. We will review your current progress and, if needed, show you any changes that you need to make in order to give you a better chance of reaching those goals. We will also ‘stress test’ your plan to see if it can hold up in various market conditions.

  5. We work together to implement the recommended changes and create action steps for you to follow to help you work toward your goals.

  6. We meet quarterly to discuss your progress and educate you on current market conditions.

  7. We update your plan annually because we all know things in life can happen!

Attached below are 2 sample financial plans.  There are many different scenarios in financial planning, we have provided two of our most common examples.

Sample Plan 1 provides an example of a couple that has goals of buying a home, saving for their kids college education, having a comfortable retirement all while being financially independent now.

Sample Plan 2 provides an example of a couple that is getting close to retirement, has ambitions to travel the world in retirement, and they want to make sure their children and grandchildren are taken care of upon their passing.
